Celebrate The Big Day with Leeds Hotels & Venues Association

Leeds Hotels & Venues Association welcomes visitors to the city at their inaugural wedding event The Big Day on Sunday 28 February. 14 hotels and venues will be holding wedding fairs and open days, giving couples the chance to visit a number of venues over the course of the day and experience the variety of offerings across the city.

With venues ranging from the sophisticated and intimate Malmaison Leeds situated in the heart of Leeds to the rural setting of Oulton Hall, The Big Day will be the ultimate showcase of Leeds wedding venues.

With dedicated teams on hand at each venue to show visitors around and a plethora of local suppliers and creative wedding professionals, LHVA hope to inspire couples and encourage them to choose Leeds as their perfect wedding destination.

Venues will be pulling out all of the stops to promote their individual packages, with Bucks Fizz receptions, canapé taster sessions and live entertainment to ensure that visitors experience the very best for their perfect day.

LHVA will also be offering all brides-to-be the chance to win fantastic prizes including a £200 Kuoni voucher, spa days, anniversary dinners and afternoon tea if they visit two or more venues on 28 February.

Venues taking part in The Big Day include Cosmopolitan Hotel, Hilton Leeds City, Leeds Beckett University, Leeds Marriott Hotel, Malmaison Leeds, Mercure Parkway, Oulton Hall, Park Plaza, Radisson Blu, The Leeds Club, The Queens, The Tetley, Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa and Weetwood Hall.

Gordon Jackson, Chairman of LHVA and General Manager of Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa said:
“We are extremely excited to be able to bring this event to Leeds and offer our venues the chance to show-off their wedding packages to the public. With champagne receptions, food tasters, music and a selection of local suppliers on hand, we anticipate the event to be a real hit with couples from around the region and further afield”.
