Sid and Olive Vintage Wedding & Event Hire was created by best friends Jo and Lou, as a way of sharing their love of weddings and all things vintage.
After years of collecting antiques and vintage bric a brac, they suddenly found them useful when decorating wedding and party venues for their friends and families. That was when they had the idea to share their beloved items with others.
They've been friends since they were four (quite a few years ago now!), and both studied creative degrees at university, following onto careers in the wedding and design industries. They're now channeling their creativity and love of vintage, retro and rustic style into the creation of beautiful, quirky and unique weddings and events.
When they're not planning vintage weddings, they're out walking their two dogs, Sid the Shih-tzu and Olive the Pug - the inspiration behind the company name!
