The Ermine Street Ceilidh Band is led by Bill Wilson and Steve Taylor who, together with other local talented musicians, provide a unique blend of Scottish and Irish Ceilidh music with more than a hint of Americana. With fiddle, Irish melodeon, guitar and 5 string banjo, our distinctive sound lends itself to all manner of "toe-tapping" folk dances, appealing to a wide range of age groups. Our dances are easily within the grasp of the absolute novice and, with the help of the band's expert caller, you will soon discover that your Ermine Street Ceilidh is an ideal way of breaking the ice between guests at your wedding. If you have any special requests, perhaps for a bagpiper or for a waltz for the Bride and Groom, we will do our utmost to help. We want to make your wedding that very special occasion that you want and deserve - bringing pleasant memories which you and your guests can treasure over the following years. We are based in North Lincolnshire and are available to play at events throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and adjoining areas.
