Mango Acoustic Duo

We love music, and know it means a lot to others too. By having us play during your special day, we aim to create the perfect atmosphere by performing the songs you love, in our relaxed style.

Mango will provide a first-class service, and would love to play a part in your big day.

We usually play during one of the following options... but can be more bespoke if you'd like.

Mango can create the perfect atmosphere with live music for your wedding ceremony as we play a few songs as your guests are being seated, a song for your processional, two songs during the signing of the register, and a final song for the Recessional (You are welcome to choose the songs from our set list, plus we can learn a special song for you) We can then move location inside or out to perform over your drinks reception.

Drinks Reception
While you are whisked away by your photographer, we can entertain your guests with some cool acoustic covers. We can perform 2 x 45 minute sets over this period (or 1 x 90 minute set if time is tight) and often perform outside – should the lovely British weather allow!

Wedding Breakfast
We can play 2 x 45 minute sets during your wedding breakfast – performing non obtrusive, tasteful background music for you and your guests. This is a great time for us to play if you really want to listen to us too!

Evening Reception
This is perfect if you are looking for that something different to start your evening celebration. We can play 2 x 45 minute sets giving the unmistakable atmosphere of live music, and could finish our last set with your first dance (a song which we could learn for you) before we hand over to a DJ to take the party into the night.

If you want something a little livelier, we can be Mango Acoustic Trio! Joined by 'King Konga' - an amazing Percussionist!

Whether that's a String Quartet during the ceremony, Jazz Band throughout the wedding breakfast or a Function Band for the evening reception, finding the right balance can make your wedding day even more memorable. Wedding reception music is always a nice touch to really add to the atmosphere of your sit down meal. There are a number of options depending on preference and budget, from a solo pianist to a Jazz Trio or maybe even a String ensemble. All of these options provide you with soft, ambient background music to really set the scene.

Bird & the Bad Man Acoustic Duo

Hello! We are Bird & The Bad Man Acoustic Duo We are based in Leicester, Sarah Bird sings, and David Gardiner plays guitar. We play a wide range of songs and perform them in an uncomplicated yet beautiful acoustic style, without studio trickery or backing tracks.

We cater to many different events and pride ourselves in the fact that we put heart and soul in to every booking, from first contact to the final song of the performance. Especially in the booking of a wedding, as we know that this is one of the most important days in a person's life. Our speciality is being a versatile as possible. We can create the perfect atmosphere, whether it's subtle intimacy during your wedding ceremony, or uptempo acoustic music during the evening. We often get audiences up dancing!

Bird & The Bad Man cover a wide range of styles and eras. From Etta James to Jessie J, Sarah's stunning vocals and David's expert guitar playing adds a truly unique touch to both classic and contemporary songs.

By using our agency you are not only getting artists who have been approved by us for their high quality but you are also working with one point of contact, with wedding planning experience, making organising your wedding that much easier.  Our complete service covers everything from basic DJ packages through to tailor-made sound and lighting systems designed just for you, your wedding and venue. In fact, lighting is included with every booking with extra lighting effects available if you want something truly magical. We can call on a team of professional DJs who are all highly experienced and happy to play music covering any decade you want – or all of them. We’ll also take any special requests and song lists when we sit down with you and chat through your event.   Are you looking for a live band?  We have a wide range of wedding bands covering all genres from modern day classics, soul, motown, and jazz to the older classics to keep the grandparents happy!  All of our bands will cover the whole evening’s entertainment (and earlier in the day if you want some live background music) so there is no need for a separate DJ.
