I approach weddings with a very natural and unposed approach, some may call it reportage – but no matter what label you put on it, your wedding day is about you and it’s not a photoshoot! It’s about capturing real life moments, not just the big moments, but those in between moments too.
I understand the importance of a few formal group shots too of course, although like to keep these to a minimum (around 5 or 6) so that we can get back to the more candid shots of you and your guests, you’ve just got married, enjoy and saviour every moment! Most of my couples say they hate having their photo taken (i do too!), however, if I've done my job properly, then i’ll have blended in with your guests and feel like an old friend to you that you can have a joke and a giggle with, so even when it is just the two of you (and me), i’ll be there documenting those moments that naturally happen between you, that “just married” feeling.
